‘We love each other passionately and often. While the disability does, in reality, affect how we do things and what we are able to do together, it does not define our relationship. Assumptions are always the problem. People can assume that because I am disabled, that my sexuality and my ability to enjoy and participate in sex have been taken away from me. It is fun to be part of an education process aimed at challenging this perception.’
