My name is Akisha Weaver, and I belong to the Wiradjuri tribe. I am a Personnel Capability Specialist in the Royal Australian Air Force, currently serving at 3 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (3AES). This is my first year serving as I joined in August 2023, after I started living with my grandparents who then motivated me to be a part of something bigger. I love the community and the people that I work alongside and I am proud to be able to serve my country.
