‘I am keen to instil a belief in the wider community that disability IS sexy! It was a privilege and a huge indulgence to be photographed by one as talented as Belinda!! I truly love the way she has captured me!! When the idea for the image was suggested to me, I wasn’t so sure! I’d imagined myself in an image like the one used to promote the movie ‘American Beauty’…strategically placed rose petals. On reflection, an image like that would have been far too innocent for me. Belinda managed to come up with an image that shows off all my ‘assets’, makes the bits of myself that I don’t always like pale into insignificance and really shows me up to be what I truly am… …Not your average horny little devil.’
