I was born on Dharug land and grew up in Penrith for the majority of my life, however I’m a proud Yorta Yorta man on my Grandfathers side. I am the second youngest out of my five siblings, the third to graduate Year 12 and the first of my generation to join the Australian Defence Force (ADF). In 2018, feeling adrift I made the bold decision and enlisted in the ADF as an Aviation Firefighter and was posted to No 22 Squadron (22SQN) at RAAF Base Richmond, fulfilling a sense of purpose while serving my country.
