“Life is not equal until you find a place that lets you be equal.”

I joined the Army in 1982 as a 19 year old boy from country Victoria. I served in the Regular Army for six years in the Signals Corps as a driver. When I left the regular Army, I missed it so much that I re-enlisted in the Army Reserve in the Infantry Corps and felt right back at home for three years before discharging and returning back home to the country in Gippsland.

My Grandfather was in the Army in WW2 and inspired me to look at it and I did. I was so inspired that my son has now joined the Army at the age of 19 and continues this connection.
