With the support of the City of Sydney and the Women’s Electoral Lobby, the UNSEEN Arts Hub was launched on International Women’s Day. Monthly the UNSEEN Arts Hub was activated for one week to generate public awareness of how women’s homelessness is impacted by domestic violence, sexual identity and disability.
The UNSEEN Arts Hub was included in the ArtPARK’s annual sculpture walk at Pier 7/8 of the Walsh Bay precinct, drawing Sydneysiders to the area during COVID-19 restrictions.
Launched during this activation was the Ageing on the Edge NSW Forum’s report, ‘Home at Last: Solutions to End Homelessness of Older People in NSW. During the launch, the UNSEEN participants shares their stories.

Jai Jaru’s podcast offers women the chance to express thankfulness to those who have positively impacted their lives. Supported by Blur Projects and the City of Sydney Matching Grants, the podcast was launched on International Women’s Day 2022, at the Redfern Community Centre.
The UNSEEN Arts Hub May/June 2022 activation by Randwick Council included an exhibition at the Lionel Bowen Library of works created by the UNSEEN Artists.
Produced by Dieter Knierim, the UNSEEN documentary gives voice to the women who have participated in the UNSEEN Arts Hub. The documentary was shown at the Ritz Cinema with the support of Randwick City Council.
National Homelessness Conference Canberra AUGUST 2022
With the support of a City of Parramatta Community Grant, Bonnie Support Services activated the UNSEEN Arts Hub in Centenary Square Parramatta for 4 days during the 16 Days of of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Here Aunty Jacqui Jarrett held trauma informed Yoga sessions followed by collaborative First Nations weaving with Jennah Dungay.
Mission Australia’s activation of the UNSEEN Arts Hub to Brewarrina, Coonamble, Coonabarabran and NSW regional towns during 2023 with Aunty Dixie, Aunty Peta, Aunty Jacqui, Fiona, Jai, Gina, Paula and Belinda holding creative workshops in each community.
YWCA and Every Voice supported Sera in achieving her goal of completing her Master Gilding Course with the Art Gilding Academy, Sydney. Sera became Artist in Residence at the Parramatta activation.
