My name is Brendan Dawson, and my family comes from both the Yuin and Biripi tribes along the East coast of New South Wales. I am a Medic in the Royal Australian Air Force, currently serving at 3 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron 3AES.
During my four years of service I have been involved with numerous Aeromedical Evacuations of serving members, both domestically and internationally. However, the best experience I have had whilst serving in the military was assisting with the evacuation of Australian and foreign citizens from areas of conflict in the Middle East Region back to a safe location to facilitate their safe return to their home countries.
